JIQ Boys’ Journal #30
On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the JIQ Boys’ Middle and High School community gathered at the Bukharian Jewish Community Center for an exciting and unforgettable evening celebrating the graduation of the senior class. Students, parents, teachers, family members, and friends filled the room with energy and pride as they honored the remarkable achievements and growth of this outstanding group of young men.
The evening began with Mincha, setting a meaningful tone of reflection and gratitude. Following davening, attendees made their way to the first floor for the main event—the graduation ceremony.
The program opened with Rabbi Nissanian reciting a perek of Tehillim on behalf of Klal Yisroel.
Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Niazoff then delivered an inspiring address, energizing the crowd with words of encouragement and heartfelt blessings for the graduates as they prepare to enter the next chapter of their lives. His message emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast in their values while continuing to grow in Torah and character.
The Rav of the shul, Rabbi Babayev, followed with Divrei Bracha, sharing uplifting words of Torah and inspiration and offering warm wishes for the bright futures that lie ahead for each graduate.
Principal Mrs. Sassoon then addressed the audience with a meaningful message about perspective. She emphasized the power of daily effort and perseverance, reminding the graduates that true success is built through consistency, dedication, and determination over time.
Rabbi Vaknin delivered a heartfelt and personal tribute to the graduating class, highlighting the unique strengths and qualities of each student and celebrating the remarkable journeys they have taken throughout their years at JIQ.
A special video presentation created by Mr. A brought an extra spark to the evening. Featuring messages from teachers and a collection of memorable photographs spanning the boys’ early years through graduation, the video beautifully captured their growth and transformation.
Each graduate was then called to the stage to receive his award and a copy of “The Miracle of Me” before sharing a few words. Their speeches were filled with gratitude, reflection, and excitement for the future, showcasing the strong bonds they have built and the values they carry forward.
Several graduates completed high school with more than 30 college credits. A number of students will continue their learning in yeshivas in Israel, while others will attend local yeshivas or begin their college studies.
The graduates then presented Rabbi Niazoff and Mrs. Sassoon with personalized gifts as a token of appreciation for their hard work, guidance, and dedication to both their class and the school.
The ceremony reached a thrilling high point as the graduates tossed their caps into the air, met with cheers, applause, and an outpouring of pride from the audience.
