The BJCC Women’s Tehilim Program recently celebrated a major milestone — 18 years of weekly Tehillim recitation — at a special Rosh Chodesh Adar event in February that brought together the women who have made this program a cornerstone of their community.
In a heartfelt message to participants, Irina [Last Name] captured the spirit of the occasion: «The unity, warmth, and sisterhood that filled the room are what continue to strengthen and uplift our Tehilim group week after week.»
The gathering reflected nearly two decades of commitment and faith. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 carries the significance of chai or life making this anniversary particularly meaningful. Irina expressed deep gratitude to Hashem «for granting us the tremendous zechut of 18 beautiful years of Tehillim recited every Shabbat, together in such a spiritual and inspiring group.»

Irina also recognized the individuals who have shaped the program. «Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Tami Meirov for enriching the program with her weekly Parasha and Divrei Torah, adding so much depth and inspiration,» she wrote, adding a special thank-you to Liza Ahronov for her «constant help, dedication, and all the behind-the-scenes work she does to improve and elevate our program.»
The celebration closed with a blessing for all participants — a Rosh Chodesh filled with bracha, yeshuot, and simchot — and a collective prayer of thanks for the remarkable journey of 18 beautiful years.
